Supply chains are still handicapped by the pandemic’s influx of demand and it’s not just affecting things we need, like semiconductor chips, but things we WANT, like boba tea. Many of these shops have already run themselves dry of tapioca balls. Others will likely run out within weeks, making the term tapioca ‘pearls’ more fitting than ever.
