How does a city that’s constantly changing convey its improvements to the thousands of residents and businesses that call it home? A quarterly magazine is a good place to start. The City of Duluth has published “Duluth Life” for many years, but while the city had evolved, the magazine had not. They came to us for a more exciting and colorful refresh that aligns with the modernized feel of hip-and-happening Duluth! We quickly delivered with a new masthead combining the ‘D’ and ‘L’ of “Duluth Life” in a colorful representation of the diversity of the city. We also incorporated the interesting textures (bricks, concrete, and stone) found in the new buildings and structures making Duluth, well, Duluth! We’re happy to say the result has been a real page turner.
